We are a deliberately small consultancy operating inside a larger AI company, with the engineering and product depth that arrangement makes possible.
The arrangement
AI Consulting is one of the brands operated by AITG Sdn Bhd (202601016521 / 1678618-W), the Malaysian parent company behind Ai Teragrid. The consultancy shares engineers, infrastructure, and a leadership team with the rest of the company. The result is that the plans we put in front of a board are plans we ourselves intend to build.
That arrangement matters in a market where consulting and delivery have drifted apart. A roadmap that has never been delivered has no calibration to reality. Ours is calibrated by the same teams that run our two in-house products.
What we believe
Most AI failures are operating-model failures.
The models work. The failure mode in Malaysian enterprises is rarely the model — it is unclear ownership, data nobody can change, or decisions nobody is empowered to make. We spend more time on operating-model design than on model selection.
Strategy without delivery is a slide deck.
Every engagement is scoped so that delivery is a credible next step, with the same firm. If we cannot picture how a recommendation gets built, we do not make it.
Smaller and senior beats larger and broad.
We staff engagements with senior practitioners only. There are no junior consultants taking notes on our calls. That is a deliberate choice about how to spend your money.
Plain language is a professional obligation.
Reports are written to be readable by the chair of the board, who may not have a technical background, and by the engineer who will implement them. If we cannot say it in plain language, we have not understood it yet.
